ABOUT PROJECT WASTELESS
Who We Are
Project Wasteless converts Bahrain’s daily food and green-waste challenge into a sustainable, income-generating solution.
Using Hungarian-patented vermicomposting and proprietary bio-bacteria, we produce premium compost within 10–12 weeks, even in extreme Bahraini conditions.
The entire system operates in island mode — off-grid, powered by solar energy and tanker-supplied water, requiring no municipal utilities.
Located on affordable land outside city limits, the operation maintains low overhead and minimal environmental footprint, positioning Bahrain as the first GCC country with a circular, self-sustaining compost model.
Bahrain currently imports compost at 80–100 BHD per ton. Project Wasteless will replace that with local, affordable, high-quality production, keeping value inside the Kingdom.
